It would be rather nice to see some photographs of the tournament that is currently under way in Gibraltar. I hope Michael Adams can do as well as he did last year.
Followed all of Michael`s games as much as work and children permitted.Thought he played solid throughout the tournament and has kept his excellent rating which is no mean feat.
Thought Michael played better as the tournament progressed and to lose to Carlsen is no disgrace especially as he was coming off a defeat in the first round.
Anyway i would like to wish Michael a Happy Christmas and a successful 2011.
These are very lovely pictures! This year’s London Chess Classic was really interesting. There were some really great games, and I notice that Garry Kasparov made a cameo appearance at the end. Michael Adams’ win against David Howell was truly spectacular, and Luke McShane’s win against Magnus Carlsen was even more spectacular. It is rather good to know that Magnus Carlsen can be just as fallible as everybody else on this planet.
